Hugh Hunter (Founder)
Hugh Hunter, CFA graduated from Plymouth Polytechnic in 1981. His career has involved quantitative analysis and emerging market investment management at Baring Asset Management, LGT and WestLB, before being appointed as CEO of Blackfriars Asset Management.
In 2011 Hugh was appointed CEO of Prodigy Capital Partners LLP and has responsibility for the Independent UCITS Platform. Hugh has been a CFA Charterholder since 1993.
David Robinson (Director, Founder)
David Robinson graduated from the Yale School of Management in 1988. After graduation he moved to Hong Kong as Regional Investment Analyst at Baring Securities covering India, Hong Kong/China, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam. David was a top-rated investment analyst, consistently rated 1st/2nd by Extel and Institutional Investor.
In 1992 he was promoted to the Group Management Board of Baring Securities. In 1994, he left Barings to join HSBC (formerly James Capel) as Regional Investment Strategist, based in Hong Kong. In 1997 he joined Sofaer Capital, the first Asia ex-Japan equity long/short hedge fund, working in Hong Kong as a portfolio manager, becoming a Director in 1998. He left Sofaer Capital in 2000 to establish his own management company. David has 15 years of experience managing money in emerging markets including positive returns in the 1997-1999 bear market.
He founded the Independent UCITS Platform with Hugh Hunter in 2012.
Radosveta Karpuzova (Manager)
Radosveta Karpuzova graduated from Anglia Ruskin University in 2010. She completed a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, obtaining a first class honours degree. After graduation she joined Prodigy Capital Partners LLP as Office Manager. Radosveta is responsible for administration of the Partnership; and provides operational and administrative support for the Independent UCITS Platform.
