The platform legal structure was established in September 2012 under the trading name Independent UCITS Platform. The platform is an umbrella structure allowing multiple sub-funds to be launched. Each fund on the platform has individual, independent branding, a distinct and separate investment strategy and is ‘best of breed’ in the asset class. Each sub-fund is treated as a separate entity, with the assets and liabilities segregated from other sub-funds within the umbrella UCITS fund.
Zennor Japan Fund
The Zennor Japan Fund is managed by Zennor Asset Management LLP, a UK-based investment management form which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK (FRN 218549).
The fund seeks to achieve long term capital growth and aims to generate excess returns against the broad Japanese market by mainly investing in companies listed, domiciled and operating in Japan. The Sub-Fund will be actively managed without reference to any benchmark.
The fund will focus on special situation opportunities within the Japanese market and aims to have a high active share against the broad market. The Fund will focus on special situations in the market by investing in high quality, under-researched companies which have strong catalysts to add value to the portfolio, for example as a result of corporate activity or consolidation.
